Nabil-Dj Sandman is a self-made and accomplished Producer, Engineer and DJ. Nabil has grown his love of music from a passion into an entertainment realm. His diverse array of original music has proved successful throughout the music and commercial world and can be associated with brands such as GM, Dodge, Kmart, and MJ Diamonds. Nabil has worked with local and national artists: Tony Yayo of G-unit, Royce da 5’9, Chief, Stevie Soul and Foolish. His Dj talent has taken him coast to coast from spinning in Savannah, Georgia for the Boeing Jet convention to prominent venues in San Francisco. In Detroit Sandman has performed at exclusive parties for Mike Epps, Kid Cudi, The Detroit Tigers, Lions and residencies with Greektown Casino Hotel and The University of Michigan.

T. Money Green
Bassist/Producer

T. Money Green is the legendary bass player best known for his work with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Warren G., and The Dramatics. His work can be heard on almost every song that was released from the famous Death Row camp during the early to mid-90s. After 20 years as bass player and band director for The Dramatics, Green landed the job of bass player and band director for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. T. Money’s expertise on bass is coupled with his skills in writing, recording, producing, mixing, and mastering songs. T. Money also produced one of the singles on the soundtrack for the 1994 film Above the Rim, which won Soundtrack of the Year at the 1995 Source Awards. T. Money continues to work with Warren G., Nate Dogg and other hip-hop artists.

Stevie Soul Ansara
Voiceover Artist/Vocal Percussionist

STEVIE SOUL is an award winning vocal entertainer, voice actor, and beatboxer extraordinaire who is known for his ability to perform the sounds of hundreds of musical instruments in perfect harmony. He’s achieved national acclaim for his appearance in H&R Block’s “Never Settle Campaign” as well as his featured story in USA Today.

Stevie performs several genres of music, ranging from his signature Funk and Soul sound to improvised covers of Top 40 music. Stevie Soul sings over his looped and layered beatbox sets to create full musical productions live on stage. He’s performed with the likes of Whitney Cummings, Cody Simpson, and George Watsky.

Through the creation of his own “Music & Movement” curriculum, Stevie Soul has been able to share his talents with youth organizations across his hometown of Detroit. He’s worked closely with such organizations as The College for Creative StudiesY-Arts of the YMCA & The Quicken Loans Family of Companies.

Katie Ensign 
Commercial Producer/Copy-Writer/Voiceover Artist

Katie is our Copy Writer/Jingle Producer and Voiceover talent. Katie has been in the radio world for over six years keeping her current with commercial trends. She has written creative copy and voiced commercials for Party Armor, MJ Diamonds, Master Corporate Cleaning, Fantastic Sams, BelaMedica and more. Katie has a passion for writing and enjoys the creative process that goes into commercial production. Her creative copy and jingles help clients develop a brand image to stand out in today’s competitive market. Katie is a Capricorn and shares the same Birthday as Meeka, (Our Studio Dog) New Year’s Eve.

Meeka, The official Sandboxx Doggie is an 9 year old Shiba Inu and a Capricorn, like her Zodiac Sign Meeka is gentle and friendly. She brings joy and love to clients and patients that frequent Sandboxx Studio. She enjoys long walks, Dingo Bones and belly rubs. Her dutifulness is an exceptional quality and one that makes her qualified to meet and greet our fellow patrons. But beware one encounter with this furry bow-wow and you’re sure to fall in love.

Evan Geller
Acting Coach/Commercial Producer

Evan Geller, a graduate in Theatre Education from Western Michigan University is an experienced industry professional with an extensive media production and teaching background. Evan has worked in Audio Post Production as a Music Director providing creative direction for music use in commercials. He also spent time as an Account Executive at a Detroit Talent Agency creating opportunities for local talent to showcase their skills for a diverse range of clientele. While living in New York City and working at the famed Roundabout Theatre Company, Evan trained in the Sanford Meisner technique at the esteemed Gushee/Anania Studio. He says, “Teaching is in my bones. The Meisner technique is invigorating. I look forward to helping others find a connection to this rewarding work.”

Scotty O’Jay
Voiceover Artist/Engineer

Scotty O’Jay has been in the radio and television broadcasting industry for over 30 years.  In addition to being a featured voiceover artist at Sandboxx Studios, his work can be heard on countless radio and TV commercials throughout the country.  Scotty is currently the Creative Services/Production Director at Greater Media’s Detroit Sports 105-1 FM.  Scotty can also be heard doing commercial and promo work on Fox 2 Detroit as well as national in store voice for K-Mart, Sears, Rite Aid, Quik Trip, Thorntons,  Fred’s Discount Stores and many others.
